Project INFORMATION

The purpose of this project was to establish an agreed set of detailed layouts, technical standards and product specifications for The Canberra Hospital Redevelopment Master Plan.

Interesting elements

 The documentation set, established standards for future developments, including the layout of: hospital wards, consultation and treatment areas, individual and multiple occupancy wards bedrooms and toilet facilities, family and patient lounges and waiting rooms, clean and dirty utility and disposal rooms, hand washing, linen, mobile equipment, meals and beverages bays staff offices and work stations and inter floor public stairs and fire stairs.

The set contained recommended products, construction details, technical specifications, and servicing requirements.
