Project INFORMATION

Work on the guardhouse and control center followed the completion of the interior works for The Prime Ministers Lodge. The designs provided the technical solutions to surveillance and security control as well as providing agreeable of conveniences and facilities for the AFP Officers servicing the Prime Minister and the Lodge Grounds.

Interesting elements

The buildings overcame substantial design issues in maintaining a controlling presence on the site, while remaining relatively inconspicuous. These state of the art facilities tuck into the garden in this significant heritage area, remaining visually separate, yet sympathetic to the original Lodge building.
