Project DESCRIPTION:
The two buildings designed and built in 1960 for the Commonwealth Government of Australia aimed to realise the Griffin’s vision of two portals framing the view from Mount Ainslie to Parliament House Vista.
This project symbolised a stakeholder group interest of protecting the historical context of Canberra through measured drawings of Anzac Park East and West for archival purposes. Our involvement included:
Measured drawings in for archival recording of the two buildings
Co-ordination with the heritage team
Site analysis and research
