LOCATION: SANTIAGO, CHILE

PROJECT DECRIPTION:

This project involved the concept and detailed design of the interior and exterior, main food court, amusement cinema complex, shopping area, supermarket, vertical circulation and car parking.

The 8 cinema complex contains 8 rooms and is built over the top of the Bus interchange and connected to La Florida Shopping centre via the food court. The bus interchange was redeveloped to achieve the required heights for a seamless connection with the mall.

Other features of this project include:

• 10,000m2 of programmable space

• Glulam timber beams in organic patterns

• Sky lighting arrangement to draw natural light vertically to the ground floor

• Orientation and shading devices to minimise excessive heat gain
